Wish List!

We have a few of the family favorites listed, but it's time to start a Wish List for all the places we have yet to discover!

Starting with Cotogna; sure it's maybe just another trendy italian place, but we should definitely go inspect it d'un peu plus pres...

Next how about the Slanted Door? I've never been but I'm dying to try out that Asian fusion cuisine!

What would you like to see next on this Wish List?! Let us know and we'll put it up!

Numero 11 - Cafe Prague

Now I called Barbacco the "chic comfort food" place, but Cafe Prague really is the king of komfort foods!

Huge, hearty of sausage, mashed potatoes, beets, cabbage, pork in sauce and huuge beers. Oh my!

Welcome to Praha in SF, fun and so very European. Great chocolate desserts.

Come for the beer; stay for the menu (which you can already check out here!)

Numero 10 - Barbacco

This place has quite the food mixes!

Hot and spicy n'duja, savory calamari, great wines, what's not to love about this bustling Barbacco Trattoria?!

A modern Italian inspired cuisine, this is the ultimate chic comfort food :)

Don't mistake it for its neighbor Perbacco, also an Italian eatery! Yummy but not quite as charming.

Look it up!

Numero 9 - 5A5

This one is also a world in itself; fancy bar with trendy young adults, modern setting, sophisticated atmosphere and to die for food!

5A5 is a culinary experience, but beware! Vegetarians may have a hard time with this bad boy, it is indeed a Steak Lounge...

You absolutely MUST try their shishito peppers! Sin-worthy!

Edit: went back 2 weekends ago... Mamma mia how fabulous is that dry-aged NY ribeye?! Unbeatable.
As usual the shishito peppers are fabulous, the wine delicious, and the conversation even better. A great time.

Numero 8 - Georges

This little place has some of the yummiest seafood I've had in a while!

A kind of French influence for Georges that works out very nicely.

The oysters are pearl-fect (hehe) and so is the rest of the menu. Sophisticated and fun, definitely worth it.

Numero 7 - Toast

Now this one is a bit further from our home base-walkable zone but I have such good memories of its hash browns that I couldn't resist putting it in...

Toast may seem like just a diner parmi tant d'autres, but ahh it has that little extra something that makes the food really worth it.

The milkshakes, the omelettes, the toast was all just right.

Numero 6 - Blanc et Rouge

This is little wine bar is such a treasure; sweet people and sweeter wines!

Great homemade snack foods, caring staff and friendly (probably because of the booze!) customers. A must "go-to" in SF's downtown/financial district.

Look it up here!
